The Companies ... the logos

Most people remember the logos of Columbia, Universal, Paramount, RKO, Republic and Monogram.

Below is a hodge podge of logos for various B film production outfits and film releasing companies. Many specialized in low-budget westerns. Some also did serials or action yarns or melodramas or horror or whatever. Some existed for only a year or two before fading into Hollywood history.

These are from trade publications, ads, pressbooks, and screen captures from the opening titles and credits of a film.

There were many others.

Above and below are a few of the many logos for Producers Releasing Corporation (PRC), and the forerunner of PRC, Ben Judell's Producers Distributing Corporation (PDC). In the late 1940s, PRC became part of Eagle-Lion.
