Above is a lobby card and a crop/blowup from TOO MUCH BEEF (Normandy, 1936) depicting the film-ending courtroom scene. From left to right in the photo inset are Steve Clark, Rex Bell, and sitting at the table is villain Forrest Taylor. The ladies are blonde Connie Bergen and Peggy O'Connel.

Above from left to right are Charles 'Slim' Whitaker (without his normal moustache), Tom Tyler, Jeanne Martel (who would become Tyler's real life wife), Ted Lorch, and on the ground is Forrest Taylor. Scene from Tyler's ORPHAN OF THE PECOS (Victory, 1937). In this, Taylor was the brains heavy and Lorch portrayed a "snake-oil salesman".

Above are stage driver John Ridgely and guard Forrest Taylor, and inside the coach are Bob Baker and Marjorie Reynolds. Scene from Baker's WESTERN TRAILS (Universal, 1938), a remake of the John Wayne DAWN RIDER (Lone Star/Monogram, 1935), and one of Baker's weakest films. Marjorie Reynolds also did westerns with George O'Brien, Tim Holt, Roy Rogers, Tex Ritter and Ken Maynard and was a regular in the MR. WONG and TAILSPIN TOMMY series at Monogram. Probably her most remembered roles are as the love interest to Bing Crosby in HOLIDAY INN (Paramount, 1942), and as William Bendix's wife Peg in the LIFE OF RILEY TV series which ran from 1953-1958.
