From L-to-R are a quartet of unfriendly faces: Bud Geary, Frank Ellis (in the doorway shadows), Bob Wilke and Barcroft in a scene from CODE OF THE PRAIRIE (Republic, 1944) which starred Smiley Burnette and featured Sunset Carson.

In THE CHEROKEE FLASH (Republic, 1945), Roy Barcroft plays Sunset's father, the titled character and former outlaw, who has reformed but his old gang wants him back. In this lobby card, Sunset is on the right and Barcroft is on the left with his six-shooter leveled at three unidentified players.

From left to right are Roy Barcroft, Edmund Cobb and Allan Lane in a lobby card from OREGON TRAIL SCOUTS (Republic, 1947). This was Allan Lane's fifth (of seven) Red Ryder films, and the story tells how Little Beaver (Bobby Blake) came to be Red's sidekick.
